How to choose your design
We want you to enjoy the process and the result. If your design is too small or complex, we help you simplify it.
1. Choose your idea
Pet, logo, character or pattern. Save it on your phone and bring it to the workshop.
2. Less detail, better result
Fine lines, small text and gradients usually need adjustments. Simple designs look better.
3. Size matters
The smaller the frame, the simpler the design should be.
4. Check your image in one click
Upload your image to the evaluator to check if it works for tufting. It will tell you if the design fits, what size may work best and if it needs simplifying.

Frequently asked questions
¿Necesito conocimientos de arte? ¿Es difícil?
No prior knowledge is needed. Our team guides you step by step from the very start: choosing colours, tracing the design with a projector, and using the tufting gun. Most of our clients come for the first time and leave delighted with the result.
What is the minimum age to participate?
We recommend the activity for children over 10. Under-12s must be accompanied by an adult. No age limit for adults — everyone is welcome!
The tufting gun looks heavy, is it hard to use?
Don't worry! Our space has an anti-gravity assist system that reduces weight and pressure on your hands. Even as a beginner, you'll handle it easily with our team's help.
How long does a tufting session last?
It depends on the size you choose. As a reference: a 30×30 cm frame takes about 1h 30min, a 50×50 cm about 2h 30min, and larger sizes (70 cm and above) may need multiple sessions. You can check estimated times in our pricing table.
Can I design my own pattern?
Of course! You can bring your own design on your phone or choose one from our inspiration gallery. Before booking, we recommend using our design evaluator to check that your image is suitable for tufting.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking ahead, especially on weekends and holidays, to secure your spot.
Can I come with friends or a partner?
Absolutely! It's a perfect plan for couples, friends or even families. Each person works on their own rug, sharing the space and the experience. Many of our clients come in groups to celebrate birthdays or simply spend a creative time together.
What if I don't finish my piece in time?
No worries! You can come back another day at no extra cost to finish your piece. We keep your piece in the workshop until you complete it. You just need to book another session and pick up where you left off.
When can I take my finished rug home?
After your session, at TUTU Studio we handle the final finishing. The process takes about 2 weeks. In special cases, an express service can be requested.
¿Qué incluye el acabado final?
El workshop incluye un acabado básico: recorte general, limpieza de hilos y revisión final.
El acabado detallado es un servicio opcional para quienes quieren líneas más marcadas, zonas más definidas o un resultado más elaborado. Puede aplicarse a diseños con letras, logos, mascotas, líneas finas o muchos detalles.
Este servicio requiere dejar la pieza en el estudio y el plazo habitual es de 2–3 semanas, aunque puede variar según la carga de trabajo.
El resultado final depende del diseño elegido, el tamaño de la pieza y cómo se realizó durante el taller. No garantizamos que quede exactamente igual que la imagen original.
