TUTU STUDIO is a hands-on creative experience where you design and make your own rug from scratch — with zero experience needed.
Choose your image, pick your colours, and create something truly personal. We guide you through every step, from the first line to the finished piece.

1. Choose your favourite image
Your pet, your partner, your favourite drawing... Anything you want to turn into a unique rug.
2. Choose your yarn colours
We have loads of yarn colours to choose from. You decide the combination you like best.
3. Practise tufting
No experience needed. We teach you from scratch how to use the tufting gun step by step.
4. Trace the design
We use a projector to help you trace your image onto the fabric. Just follow the lines!
5. Tak tak tak!
Shoot the yarn with the gun and fill in your creation. It's addictive, relaxing, and surprisingly easy.
6. Your piece is ready!
We handle the trimming and finishing so you can take home a beautiful, professional-quality rug. Ready in 1–2 weeks.

What is the experience like?
- The process takes 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the frame size you choose.
- Your piece will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after your session.

Why do I need to wait two weeks for my piece?
After your session, your rug goes through several stages:
- Backing reinforcement application
- Full drying (may take longer in humid weather)
- Trimming, contouring and hand-cleaning for sharp, clean edges
- Final inspection and preparation for pickup or shipping
Each piece is unique, and these steps require time, precision and great care to ensure a high-quality result.
