What is tufting?
Tufting is a carpet and rug making technique that involves the insertion of yarns through a backing to create patterns or designs.

1. Choose your favourite image
Your dog, your partner, your favourite drawing, etc... Whatever you want to turn into a unique rug.
2. Choose the thread colours
We have lots of thread colours to choose from. You decide the combination that will make your design shine.
3. Tufting
You don't need any experience. We teach you from scratch how to use the tufting gun step by step.
4. Trace the design
We use a projector to help you trace your image onto the fabric - just follow the lines!
5. Tak tak tak!
Shoot the thread with the pistol and fill in your creation. It's addictive, relaxing, and surprisingly easy.
6. Your work is ready!
We cut it out and perfect it. We will contact you within 2 weeks or so to pick up your artwork.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need knowledge of art, is it difficult?
This is not necessary. With the help of our team, anyone can finish their work without any problem.
From what age can you participate?
We recommend the activity for children over 10 years old. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no age limit for adults, everyone is welcome!
The tufting gun looks heavy, is it difficult to use?
Don't worry, our space is equipped with an anti-gravity assistance system that reduces the weight and pressure on your hands. Even if you are a beginner, you will be able to handle it easily with the help of our equipment.
How long does a tufting session last?
It depends on the size and complexity of the design. Generally, you can finish a 30×30 cm rug in one hour.
Can I design my own pattern?
Of course you can! You can bring your own design or choose one from our inspiration gallery.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend you book early, especially on weekends or public holidays, to ensure your place and enough time to create.
Can I come with friends or a partner?
Of course! We encourage couples and groups of friends to come together and enjoy the shared creative process.
What happens if I don't finish my work on time?
You can come back at no extra cost to finish your carpet until you are completely satisfied.
When can I take my finished carpet home?
After your session, Tutu Studio takes care of the final finishing. The process takes about 2 weeks. In special cases, an express service can be requested.
